Background information
Nayara Güércio is a PhD candidate in Translation Studies at Trinity College Dublin (Ireland), who is researching indirect translation in academia under the supervision of Dr. James Hadley. She is one of the grantees of the ABEI/Haddad Fellowship for Brazilian students. As part of an Undergraduate Exchange Program between Brazil and Italy, Nayara studied 'Lettere e Filosofia' (Language and Philosophy) at the Università Degli Studi di Siena. She is also a freelance private English teacher, translator and interpreter (English <> BR Portuguese).
