Background information
Anja Allwood obtained her MA in Translation from University of Gothenburg while working as a freelance translator and subtitler. After working as a translator for the EU in Brussels and Luxembourg for two years, Allwood took up the position as a PhD candidate at University of Gothenburg in the autumn of 2017. Her research deals with indirect translations/relay translations into Swedish from the year 2000 and onwards.
